Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local CDL A Truck Driver Route Delivery $5K Bonus to work within 30 miles of the distribution warehouse in Grand Rapids, MI.

CompensationAverage annual salary $85,000 per year which includes : * $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid quarterly* Activity-based pay (miles, stops, pallet return, etc.

• some routes include weekends and / or Holidays* Routes awarded by bidding board, based on seniority* Work days and start times will vary;

work until work is completed, typically 10-14 hours per day* No layovers, home every day* Make 5-10 stops per day; deliveries are 300 mile radius of Beloit, WI* Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needsResponsibilities* Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart* Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to warehouses and end-users* Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'-53' trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations* Secure pallets using straps.

Strap and unstrap at each delivery.* Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections* Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance* Provide excellent customer service* Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle* Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailersRequirements* Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver s License, with air brakes endorsement.

Minimum 1 year CDL A driving experience required* Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred, including local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack* Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen* Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses* Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions;

hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors* Legally eligible to work in the U.S.* Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English* Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical* Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
