Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering activities to support offshore projects and facilities.
- Develop and execute projects that enhance the efficient production of oil and gas.
- Contribute to technical documents.
- Coordinate engineering efforts and supervise third-party contractors.
- Prepare cost and schedule estimates.
- Develop engineering concepts for Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
- Optimize project designs.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in creating safe and reliable equipment designs and vendor reviews.
- Participate in major equipment orders and Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Conduct risk assessments for equipment systems.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and startup.
- Advise on spare parts purchases for new projects.
- Assist field personnel with equipment troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experienced supporting the design and operation of topsides
- 2-8 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas sector
