The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide seeking online Electrical Engineering tutoring. As a tutor, you can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students' learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
  • Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
  • Utilize the Live Learning Platform for remote instruction and engagement.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Electrical Engineering with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Preference given to tutors with prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40 / hour with same-student sessions.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for completed sessions.
