Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Maryland
Position Overview
The Virtual Speech Language Pathologist will deliver speech therapy services to clients throughout Maryland via teletherapy platforms.
This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with communication disorders.
What You Will Do
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, goals, and preferences.
- Deliver therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms, incorporating evidence-based techniques and interventions.
- Monitor clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document sessions and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for improving communication skills and achieving therapy goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, educators, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and current Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing speech therapy services
- Proficiency in using technology and teletherapy platforms for service delivery.
