The Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) is a nonprofit organization that provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

These disabilities may include conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and intellectual disabilities.

DDRC typically offers a range of programs and services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

These may include residential programs, vocational training, therapeutic services, respite care, community integration initiatives, and advocacy efforts.

Your role as a Caregiver

As a Full Time Caregiver at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center in Lakewood, CO, you'll have a blast building meaningful relationships and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Witnessing their smiles light up the room as you engage them in joyful activities truly makes every day special. You'll be like a coach, guiding them in essential life skills like employment, money management, and relationship-building, all while ensuring their basic needs are met through assistance with daily activities.

What you need to be A successful caregiver

To excel as a Full Time Caregiver at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and a current driver's license with a good motor vehicle record to provide transportation in our company vehicle.

Physical stamina and the ability to safely move up to 75 pounds are essential for transferring individuals. Basic computer skills are required for documentation purposes.
