Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 30 - 17 : 00) -Work location : Onsite; Apple Valley, CA -Compensation : $55 to $62 per hourDuties and Responsibilities-Deliver therapy sessions aimed at improving speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language comprehension and expression.
This may involve exercises to strengthen muscles used in speech and swallowing.-Assess patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties to diagnose conditions.
This includes conducting standardized tests and observations to identify speech and communication problems.-Help patients, especially children, develop and improve their language skills, including vocabulary, sentence structure, and social communication.
- Work with patients who have cognitive impairments (, memory, problem-solving, attention deficits) to enhance their communication abilities.
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families about communication strategies and how to support ongoing speech and language development at home.
- Collaborate with doctors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and teachers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Keep detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in treatment strategies.-Regularly monitor and document the progress of each patient to determine the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
