Requirements of the Certified NursingAssistant (CNA)
â Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNApreferred
â Current CNA certification
â CPR license
â Self-directing with the ability to workwith little direct supervision
â Empathy for the needs of the client
â Demonstrate effective oral and writtencommunication skills
â Ensures confidentiality and security ofthe client’s medical information
Responsibilities of the Certified NursingAssistant (CNA)
â Provide quality nursing care toresidents.
â Implement specific procedures andprograms.
â Coordinate work within the department, aswell as with other departments.
â Report pertinent information to theimmediate supervisor.
â Respond to inquiries or requests forinformation.
â Assist the immediate supervisor withtasks to support department operations.
â Must possess and maintain a current StateID, CPR Card, and Physical
