Job Summary
The Business Analyst will be responsible for end user facing requirements gathering to capture current state and future state business processes.
The role involves identifying blockers and identifying enablers and articulating them to the end client. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for project tracking in JIRA or PPM Pro.
They will serve as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, status reporting, issue tracking, and resolution.
The Business Analyst will facilitate meetings with development teams and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements analysis to determine integration, data migration, and system enhancement needs.
- Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals.
- Engage in discovery and identification of a variety of processes; proactively seek and suggest improvements and outline any risks and recommend optimal solutions.
- Integrate workflows into existing business processes and business applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal teams, to design and deliver solutions, facilitating increased business efficiency and optimizing the cost of operations.
- Define, promote, and utilize best practices.
- Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help others understand business processes.
- Work closely with the functional experts to validate technical implementation and development conforms to requirements.
- Prepare and present analysis, methods, and results to non-expert personnel, management team and technical experts throughout different projects.
- Make decisions on complex and sensitive issues that are based on professional judgment, evaluating risks and in the context of a complex and changing environment.
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit technical requirements.
- Provide end user training and write user documentation if needed; support end users to adopt new functionality.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
- Project management tool competency in JIRA, PPM Pro, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
- A history of supporting successful projects.

Salary Range : $76,477.50 - $124,630.00
Annual Bonus Potential : 10%
