This position troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the plant. Responsibilities :

• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, cylinders.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Change out or set up equipment.
• Perform prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management. Requirements :
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e. : addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and / or weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.
• Able to complete all paperwork CMMS / SAP functions. Physical Requirements : The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability and willingness to push / pull / lift with arms below waist / at shoulder / above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability and willingness to lift with arms up to floor to waist and waist to shoulder up to 40 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Ability and willingness to constantly stand / stoop / walk / bend up to 10 hours.
• Ability and willingness to climb stairs.
• Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 10 degrees. Qualifications :
• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
