Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : - Work on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit - Patient ratios : 4 : 1 at grid, 5 : 1 when stretched - Every other weekend schedule required - Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Must have neuro and trauma care experience - Preferred candidates have additional neuro and trauma care experience - Dress code : Navy blue scrubs required - Work with equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts - EMR system : Cerner - Typical procedures include neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tube management, PCA pump administration, IV infusions, lumber drain care, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions - Float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed - Must be a team player with patient-focused approach - Day shift grid : 2 CNC / Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC - Night shift grid : 2 CNC / Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC Facility : This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Progressive Care Unit located in the K Tower on the 7th floor.
