DUTIES :
- Assist the DNS with management responsibilities and inmaintaining the quality of care
- Responsiblefor Wound / Skin Rounds weekly
- Assist withcompliance and ensure effective communication with all levels ofnursing staff
- Meet the nursing medical needsof all residents
- 24 hours on call
- Coordinate and direct the total planning fornursing services
- Maintain a comprehensiveknowledge of general nursing theory and practice
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion ofmedical records
- Assist with interviewinghiring and orienting of new nursing staff
- Oversee daily staffing process
- infectioncontrol
- Maintain flexibility with workschedule to address unpredictable needs
REQUIREMENTS :
- Current State RN licenserequired
- Min. 3 yrs. exp. in LongTerm Caresettings
- 2 years of management experiencepreferred
- 1year staff education experiencepreferred
- Excellent Communication Skillsrequired
- Evidence of basic leadership skillsand supervision
- Flexible hours required
