Nursing Assistant, full-time 3p-11p, Mother/Baby

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant I for Mother / Baby Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 3PM-11PM, including every other weekend and certain holidays.Â

Essential Function / Responsibilities :

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing and feeding
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Minimum Education :

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience :

1-3 years of experience in Acute Care preferred

License / Certifications :

• BLS preferredÂ
• Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student experience preferred
