Information Security Analyst

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst in the Information Technology department.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and monitor security controls to mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities

Conduct research, development, and implementation of standards and audits related to information security

Assist in evaluating systems and improving workflow and processes in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare / IT experience

Completion of ITIL course within one year of hire

Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations

Familiarity with networking infrastructure and Microsoft Active Directory is preferred
