- Attends the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to provide for optimum peri-operative experience.
- Knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety and sterile technique.

- Graduate of an accredited and / or hospital approved Surgical Technician program.
- Certification preferred.
- EDUCATION : Documented on a skill check list which is kept current on each individual.
