About The Position

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of relevant experience working with nuclear medicine equipment in an acute care setting and will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials in accordance with standard safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as prescribed by physicians

Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper positioning for optimal image quality

Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information using EPIC system

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including radiation protection guidelines

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and deliver optimal patient care

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience

Relevant equipment experience in an acute care environment is required

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license issued by NYSDOH is required

ARRT (N) certification is required

BLS certification preferred

Additional Information :

Must be available for alternating weekend and holiday shifts

Attendance during the full training period is mandatory

Workers must report as scheduled, including holidays
