Lab Technician
We are looking to add a Laboratory Technician to our laboratory production team.
This position requires a strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
Essential functions and skills required include :
1) Ability to perform simple, moderate, and advanced laboratory tasks with minimal supervision
2) Great time management and prioritizing skills
3) Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and respectful work environment
4) Must be able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
5) General laboratory equipment knowledge
Pay : $17 / hr based on experience.
Hours : Part-time, 24 hrs a week.
Wednesday - Friday from 8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm. Hours must be flexible.
About Us : We are a small business in a highly technical scientific field. We are located in North Portland with easy freeway access.
Excellent job for someone looking for entry level technical laboratory experience or a recent graduate / graduating college student looking for a first job.
Requirements : Strong work ethic, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and basic computer skills.
A background in biology or manufacturing is not required but is preferred.
