WeVote is a movement of over 120 active passionate, part-time volunteers (starting with the founders) who build mobile technologies that will touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day.

Role Overview

WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Political Ads Strategist to help strengthen American Democracy. You are an experienced professional (3–5 years) with hands-on campaign strategy and media buying across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Reddit, and other platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Develop strategic campaign plans that drive awareness and engagement with WeVote’s voter education tools
• Identify target audiences and recommend optimal media channels (digital, social, grassroots partnerships, etc.)
• Partner with campaign managers and creative leads to ensure messaging aligns with WeVote’s mission and values
• Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations for improvement
• Help set KPIs and benchmarks for advertising initiatives
• Collaborate with content, design, and engineering volunteers to produce creative assets and landing page experiences that are on-brand and accessible
• Create repeatable playbooks, templates, and checklists so additional volunteers can execute and scale during peak periods
