Summary : You will be organizing government files, scanning documents into computer database, some data entry and filing documents in stock rooms.
Microsoft Office is used daily. Pay : $22.41 an hour Duration : Full Time, Long Term2nd shift hours : 3 : 30pm 12amBonus incentive opportunities are available Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Warehouse Records Clerk performs services as they relate to document storage and mail room functions, document conversion, document destruction, and records management.
This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred but not mandatory previous record keeping experience
- Must be able to pass a Government public trust security level clearance check
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, applies common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or diagram instructions
- Perform basic computer work
- Position requires ability to lift file boxes that could weigh 35-40 pounds
- Must meet and maintain production and quality goals
- Abides by all company safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Being able to withstand heights
- Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time
- Able to climb ladders for filing and storage purposes Physical and Safety RequirementsMust be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, use repetitive hand / wrist motions, withstand heights, stand / sit for prolonged periods, and assist with unloading and receiving inventory, and ability to push / pull, transport objects using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis.
