What We Need :

iHeartMedia has an opening for a seasoned Part-Time News Reporter / Anchor on multiple stations in multiple markets throughout the country.

This person will also perform in-house reporting duties, produce content for national wire service, and perform general newsroom assignments.

Candidates should have high standards for audio quality, strong on-air presentation skills, and the ability to write radio broadcast-style copy.

What You'll Do :

Anchor newscasts for multiple markets.

Write clear, concise news copy.

Produce, edit and write content for 24 / 7 Newswire.

Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.

Produce short-form reports (voicers / wraps) for anchors on the following shift.

May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.

What You'll Need :

Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.

Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation :

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
