Responsibilities :
Teaching : Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for high school mathematics.
Student Engagement : Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and a passion for mathematics.
Assessment and Feedback : Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Collaboration : Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies and stay updated on educational trends.
Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school administrators regarding student performance, achievements, and challenges.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Mathematics.
- Previous experience teaching high school mathematics.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
