University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring for a Part-Time Medical Assistant.
Meets and greets patients;
Obtains appropriate patient information and medical history.
Accurately completes and documents patient medical and physical histories and other related items in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR);
Accurately Records vital signs.
Aids in the collection of blood when needed
Reviews next day schedule to ensure all testing is completed.
Prepares and maintains examination rooms
Maintains examination / treatment rooms, including inventory of supplies and equipment.
Assist providers in bone marrow biopsies
Requirements :
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Previous medical experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to work individually and as a team.
- A positive attitude is a must!
