About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Teacher Childcare to join our team as a Teacher Childcare, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
Your role will be critical in ensuring that children receive the highest quality care and education during their early years.
Minimum Qualifications :
- EEC teacher certification with a combination of education and experience as follows : BA in early childhood and 6 months’ work experience, BA in related field and 2 early childhood courses, AA in early childhood and 1 year experience working in a preschool classroom.
- Motivated, energetic, punctual and responsible. Exhibit a positive attitude to be an excellent role model for children and coworkers.
- Ability to teach and interact with parents, employees and co-workers.
- Pass background record check (CORI / SORI / DCF) and fingerprinting.
- Positive attitude towards working with children.
- Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Zoom
- Ability to work early and late varied hours for classroom coverage.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure that the needs of all children are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents and families to keep them informed about their child's progress and development
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills :
As a Teacher Childcare, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
You will also need to have strong organizational and time management skills to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
In addition, you will need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Finally, you will need to be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure that the needs of all children are met.
