Job Summary

Working in conjunction with Account Executive (AE) or Producer and following established industry and company guidelines;

responsible for managing an assigned book of business; increasing account retention and new business support; and meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and ensuring that no liability associated with errors and omissions occur.

Responsible for strategic coordination and execution of day- to-day administrative and customer service activities for assigned accounts, and capable of resolving complex customer service problems, showing the ability for criticalthinkingand thought process in taking the next step in the best interest of the client, carrier partner and IOA.What You’ll Do :

  • Maintain high degree of technical competence and industry / marketexpertise
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment to ensure beneficial outcomes for clients andIOA
  • Direct day-to-day activities and workflow assigned to administrative, customer service and / or account management team which includes delegation and prioritization of assignment / task, communication on performance expectations, and monitoring execution to ensure performance requirements and timelines aremet
  • Assist in monitoring team performance to ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards are met, recommending corrective actions to Management whenappropriate
  • Management and execution of a variety of customer service and value-added service requests / inquiries including but not limitedto : account activity;
  • policy administration and insurance placement; billing activity; claims administration; coverage / loss analysis; contract review for insurability;
  • review policy forms and endorsements; review audits; identify errors and facilitate corrective actions; Certificates of Insurance;

Evidences of Property; andCancellation / Reinstatements

  • Manage policy expirations for existing clients and works proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals and ensures all new and renewal insurance policies are bound, billed and issued accurately and delivered to the Client / Insured within requiredtimeframe
  • Manage policy renewal process in conjunction with AM, AE and / or Producer, including but not limited to : Conducting client research and gathering complete underwriting informationConducting Loss Run AnalysisPreparing complete and accurate submissions including Acord applications and / or supplemental forms;

sending out to market and / or performing Online Rating as requiredEvaluating and negotiating coverages and pricingPreparing and presenting ProposalsBinding coverage and complying with any subjectivity(ies) as required by carrier, Surplus Lines Association and / orIOAPreparing and executing Premium Finance Agreements, when applicableDiligent follow up for Policy IssuanceReview all policies, identifying and notifying AE or Producer of any discrepancies and ensuring that all necessary changes are submitted to and issued by thecarrierMaintaining accurate and complete policy transaction detail,schedulesand Summaries of Insurance

  • Monitor Accounts Receivables reports and take action on any delinquent accounts along with collecting outstanding balancesdue
  • Maintainagency management system, other agency supported systems and carrier / vendor online platforms, ensuring all data entered is complete, clearly presented and well-documented, accurate, andup-to-date
  • Monitor and maintain activity / suspense, taking necessary action to ensure completion within required timeframe
  • Maintain frequent, transparent communication with account team regarding individual and team client service and policy administration activities, ensuring that the AE, Producer and / or Management is fully informed of workload status, questions, concerns and / or any errors, discrepancies or changes as it relates to the account and their insurance policies and facilitates appropriate / correctiveactions
  • Deliver excellent service at all times, including proactively anticipating needs, maintaining frequent and professional communication, and responding quickly to servicerequests
  • Continually stay abreast of all company policies and procedures to ensure good knowledge,executionand compliance of standard operating procedures
  • Continually seek to improve individual and team performance, including identifying,communicatingand adopting best practices
  • Live and champion IOA core values at all times, demonstrating the highest level of personal character, integrity, and servantleadership
  • Regular and consistent attendance is expected,and a necessary component to thejob
  • Perform other duties asassigned

What We’re Looking For : 3+ years of account management experience; or 5+ years related experience in the insuranceindustry Has a through working knowledge of insurance brokerage business and assigned clients’needs All required activelicensing At least one professional designation preferred, such as CIC orequivalent Strong analytical, problem solving and decision makingskills Exceptional customer service skills Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills Outstanding verbal / written communication skills Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy and attention todetail PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook,Wordand Excel Exceptional personal character High School Diploma (or equivalent)What We Offer :
