You'll work under the guidance of our skilled nursing staff and the Director of Nursing, ensuring top-quality care for those who need it most.

What You’ll Need :

• English Proficiency : Must be able to read and write in English.
• Certified & Ready : Completion of a NJ state-certified CHHA course with an active CHHA certification.
• Reliable Transportation : You’ll need a dependable way to get to your client visits.
• Experience Preferred : 1 year of experience as a CHHA in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Your Role :

As a CHHA, you’ll be an essential part of our clients' daily lives. Your tasks will be guided by the care plan (POC) created by our nurses.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting with personal care and daily activities.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with mobility.
• Helping with treatments under nurse supervision.
• Encouraging independence and mental alertness.
• Providing emotional and psychological support.
• Reporting changes in the client's status to the nurse.

What You Bring :

• Communication Skills : Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.
• Physical Ability : Ability to stoop, bend, lift, turn, and transfer clients up to 200 pounds.
• Travel Ready : Must be able to travel to clients’ homes.
• Attention to Detail : Ability to document visits and follow the care plan meticulously.
