We are looking to for an experienced Buyer to join our team!

This is an on-site position, located in Mountain View, CA .
The Buyer responsibilities will include :
- Review purchase requisitions, drawings and specifications for completeness, accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures
- Manage performance of purchase orders and suppliers, ensures compliance with all ISO requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import / export regulations.
- Specifying solicitations and bid packages
- Identifying strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.
- Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices / terms
- Understanding the buyer and seller’s roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements
- Prepare metric reports related to procurement to be presented to management
- Leveraging your skill and talents throughout this role
In this role you will make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.
Basic Qualifications :
- At least 3-5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A stable work history
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.
- Proficiency in MRP systems such as SAP or Expandable
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
