Right at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate In-Home Caregivers in Iowa City to help a 37-year-old gentleman. He is paraplegic as a result of a car accident.
We are looking for a skilled caregiver to assist him with personal cares, catheter, Hoyer lift, light housekeeping, companionship, and pet care since he has a small friendly dog named Tilly (for emotional support).
We are hiring recurrent caregivers for the 3rd shift on Fridays and Saturdays (10pm-6am-awaken overnight).
Compensation and Benefits for a PRN Caregiver in Iowa City :

Requirements of a PRN Caregiver in Iowa City :
- Full-time availability.
- Valid Drivers License
- Proof of Car Insurance

- Ability to be reliable and dependable

- Gait Belt Experience
- Hoyer Experience
- Incontinence / Catheter Experience
Responsibilities of a PRN Caregiver in Iowa City :
- Provide personal care- showers, dressing, transfers / Hoyers
- Provide assistance with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning
- Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols
- Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
- Provide transportation as needed and outings
