Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist experienced in neuro and peripheral interventions, with Epic proficiency and ARRT (R) certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology department
  • Department features 4 angiography suites (two single-plane and two biplane), a dedicated CT scanner, and a multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
  • Perform procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic conditions using advanced imaging technology
  • Day shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off
  • Possible weekend coverage may be required
  • Call required : one primary call shift per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback time
  • Must be available to work or take call for one holiday during the 13-week contract
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Perform a range of minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Work with a multidisciplinary IR team using advanced imaging technologies
  • Role supports a Level I Trauma Center for adult and pediatric patients
  • RTO requests must be included for consideration
  • Facility may call off up to one shift per two weeks
  • Must provide two references, a copy of driver's license, and Social Security Number for consideration

  • ARRT (R) certification required; either CV or VI (VI preferred)
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • Ability to obtain Virginia state license; any active state license or pending accepted, with emergency authorization available for VA
  • Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • License required if applicable
