Remote, within the Continental U.S.
The Field Sales Representative, Community Colleges, is a consultative role, responsible for achieving sales territory growth by selling current and historical news content to Community Colleges. This position is remote from your home office.
Starting Salary Range
$70,000 base with a commission package
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed individual goals e.g. prospect sales, renewing existing customer subscriptions, and upgrading of existing customers
- Strategize and grow territory to increase market penetration
- Schedule appointments to uncover customer and prospects’ needs
- Conduct high-impact virtual and live discovery / presentations / demonstrations of NewsBank’s information products
- Generate leads, add new opportunities into pipeline, and move opportunities in pipeline to sale
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline
- Accurately record all activity in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
Qualifications
Prior Field Sales experienceProven success with past sales resultsBachelor’s degreeTop performer with the ability to sell new business, manage subscription renewal business, and demonstrated experience in consultative selling.Proficient with CRM, standard software including on-line meeting software, Microsoft Office and ExcelAbility to convey a positive and professional image to customers3+ years of sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quotaExcellent communication skills, both verbal and listeningExcellent time management skillsAbout NewsBank
