Shift : Variable Shifts (8-Hour Shifts)

Schedule : Full-Time (40 Hours / Week)

Hiring Bonus : $10,000 (with eligibility for relocation assistance)

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a Registered Nurse - Supervisor specializing in Labor and Delivery on behalf of our partner, a prestigious Level I trauma center located in Seattle, WA.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled nursing professional to join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility known for its commitment to patient care and excellence.

Job Overview :

The Registered Nurse - Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring that the highest standards of patient care are maintained.

The role requires strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.

This position offers variable shifts with a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and support nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring adherence to best practices and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Manage and oversee patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Act as a liaison between staff, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Applicants without a BSN must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire. Continued employment is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree within this timeframe.
• Registered Nurses employed by the facility prior to December 1, 2012, are encouraged but not required to obtain a BSN.
• Upon hire : Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a related clinical area of nursing, with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience as a Charge Nurse or in a supervisory role within a Labor and Delivery unit.
