Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the San Bernardino, CA area, serving local schools from August through December to cover maternity leaves. Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status are welcome to apply, as well as those holding the SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

This role involves providing speech-language therapy services across elementary and high school settings, with caseloads ranging from approximately 53 to 65 students. You'll be responsible for conducting assessments, participating in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Instructional Support Team meetings (ISTs), and delivering therapy to students with a range of mild to severe communication disorders. Services are delivered in person, with no virtual sessions or support requests for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged to apply
  • Ability to manage caseloads in multiple schools, including elementary and high school environments

Location and Work Hours :

  • Locations include schools in San Bernardino and nearby cities within a 40-minute radius
  • Full-time schedule averaging 37.5 to 40 hours per week
  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP and IST meetings
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
