ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a talented Sign Language Interpreter in Cold Springs, NV. Join our team to facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and their peers in school settings, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in ASL or Education Interpreting
- Certification by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
- Strong fluency in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities :
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa
- Collaborate with educators and speech pathologists
- Write IEPs and work on IEP goals with data collection
- Provide support to guardians and assist preschool students
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality
- Continuous professional development to enhance interpreting skills
