Local Contract Mammography Technologist - $30-43 per hour

LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in Moab, Utah. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Mammography Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 39 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Position Responsibilities : Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue. Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition. Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. Evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results. Maintain detailed patient records and documentation. Stay up to date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices. May assist physicians during diagnostic procedures (depending on the facility). Promote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings.
