About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : CT Scan Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 36 Hours Variable Guaranteed Hours : 36 Experience : Preferably more than 1 year, but 1 year acceptable License : ME State license Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) Must-Have : - Experience with CTA studies and general studies - IV start skills (preferred) - Biopsy experience (preferred) - Familiarity with Siemens equipment (preferred) Job Description : - Perform a wide range of CT scans, handling both outpatient and inpatient needs.
- Manage care for ED, outpatient, and inpatient areas, focusing primarily on adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric and neonatal cases.
- Conduct scans for oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma cases. - Opportunity to train on biopsy procedures, if lacking prior experience.
- Collaborate with a team under the guidance of a Lead Tech and Department Administration. - Utilize technology such as Siemens CT systems, Medrad injectors, Cerner EMR, and Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while achieving high-quality imaging results. - No floating requirement; dedicated location for CT imaging.
