We seek interns for unpaid internship in Jonesboro, AR.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Attend intakes, write treatment plans, and diagnoses
• Observe and conduct family, individual, and group therapy sessions
• Complete a monthly timesheet to track intern hours and learning experiences which will be provided to LSCI’s Intern Coordinator at the end of each month
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals
• Participate in weekly clinical staffing and present any pertinent information regarding client care, progress, and blockage towards treatment goals
• Attend monthly intern staff meetings with Intern Coordinator.
• Conduct research and attend trainings to assist in improving clinical practice

LSCI provides outpatient counseling and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and group psychotherapy in a warm, safe, and supportive environment.

Services are offered for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, childhood abuse and trauma, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.
