As part of our continued success, Landau Associates is seeking Noise Practice Project Manager candidates. This position will be based in one of the following locations : Seattle, WA, Tacoma, WA, Olympia, WA, Kingston, WA, Portland, OR, Boise, ID, Baton Rouge, LA, Tampa, FL, Houston, TX, Nashville, TN
Responsibilities Include :
- Client engagement including but not limited to : Identifying and defining noise-related concerns,Collaborating with industrial design and operations managers,Coordinating with regulators on behalf of clients, andSupport projects through community engagements, such as open houses and public information sessions.
- Identify and define noise producing equipment and control measures.
- Project management, including budget development and tracking, project team leadership (i.e., engagement and support) and workload facilitation, and product delivery.
- Program marketing support, including proposal preparation, teaming partner and client outreach, and strategy development.
- Technical and regulatory skills required to exercise these responsibilities include the following : Conduct sound level measurements (ambient, compliance, long-term, and source) and analyze captured noise modeling of various types of sources (industrial, transportation, development) using CadnaA (demonstrated proficiency with a comparable model is acceptable).
Processing of noise measurement and modeling data including tabulations and graphical transportation noise modeling using models such as FHWA’s Traffic Noise Model, FTA’s Noise Impact Assessment Spreadsheet, and and quantify effectiveness of potential noise control and interpret local, state, provincial, and federal regulations related to findings in well-written, clear, and technically accurate letters, memorandums, and reports.
This position is available for the candidate who has :
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics related field
- 8+ years of noise assessment or similar experience, including 3+ years of project management experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with relevant local, state, and federal regulations
- Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction for staff
- Demonstrated commitment to client service, including high quality work, ethical standards, and strong written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is $85,000 $110,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
