You'll be a key product leader in helping shape our AI product efforts. The ideal candidate is a 0-1 visionary who is passionate about introducing AI to the world through Duolingo's new product offerings.
You'll collaborate closely with other product teams across Duolingo.
In this role, you will :
- Spearhead the development and implementation of AI-first product features by crafting the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution to advance AI products at Duolingo.
- Drive product features through their entire creative cycle : ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration.
- Lead other product managers.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development.
- Collaborate with a wide range of collaborators, including teams in research, product design, and engineering.
- Be responsible for hitting the key performance indicators you are entrusted with.
You might thrive in this role if you have :

- 10+ years of product management or related industry experience.
- Experience building generative AI consumer products.
- Experience leading other product managers and generating outstanding results.
- Ability to use user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions.
- An instinct for creating simple and intuitive mobile user experiences.
- A desire to build 0-1 products from the ground up.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degrees in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or equivalent.
We invest in and support our Duos! This role is eligible for a robust compensation package of base salary, equity, and Duolingo’s world-class benefits.
The starting base salary range for this role is, $196,000 - $426,000. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
