The client is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer, or Hydrogeologist to join their collaborative team in Doylestown, PA.
This individual will play a key role in managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering high-quality services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff.
This role offers the opportunity to develop both project management and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on a variety of small and large-scale projects.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
- Perform complex analyses as part of broader engineering and environmental projects.
- Supervise field activities and ensure accurate interpretation of findings.
- Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
- Organize, write, and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents effectively.
- Participate in identifying and pursuing new clients, developing additional work within existing projects, and attending business development meetings with new and existing clients.
- Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff on specific project assignments, including coaching, training, and motivating staff assigned to environmental projects.
Participate in interviewing and hiring staff.
- Coordinate with other work groups across office locations and disciplines as needed.
- Interface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- PG, PE, or LSRP certification is a plus.
- 6+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in environmental due diligence.
- Knowledge of quantitative / technical analyses and related software, with a demonstrated ability to perform these analyses.
- Hazwoper training, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, and annual 8-hour Hazwoper re-certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of New Jersey and Pennsylvania regulatory requirements.
- Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and clients, develop and manage project budgets, and effectively manage and coach staff.
- Availability to work evenings and / or weekends as required by projects.
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
