As a Navy Reserve Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Officer, you'll be more than just an engineer—you'll be a leader in charge of constructing, maintaining, and managing the Navy's critical infrastructure. From designing state-of-the-art facilities to overseeing public works and leading skilled construction teams, you'll be at the forefront of engineering projects that are essential to both military operations and humanitarian missions. Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction of everything from runways and docks to buildings of all kinds.
- Supervise and manage utilities and other critical services for Navy shore facilities.
- Lead and manage skilled construction teams (Seabees) in the construction of airfields, bridges, ports, and other critical infrastructure.
- Arrange budgets, manage schedules, and approve completed work to ensure project success.
Specialized Areas of Focus
- Contract Management : Manage contracts worth up to hundreds of millions of dollars, overseeing construction, resolving design issues, and ensuring payments are correctly processed.
- Public Works : Assume responsibility for Navy shore facilities, manage utilities, oversee construction and repair, and provide services to visiting ships.
- Construction Battalions : Command up to 600 Enlisted Seabee construction workers in support of both military deployment and humanitarian missions.

Who We're Looking For
- Citizenship : Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- Age : Applicants must be at least 18 years old and less than 42 years old at the time of commissioning. Prior qualifying service will be considered for year-for-year credit up to age 50. Waivers beyond age 54 will not be considered.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Relevant military or civilian experience in construction, engineering, or public works is highly preferred.
- Security Clearance : Applicants must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
