The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for certain aspects of the business, as assigned by the Store Manager. They are accountable for all store operations and functions when the store manager is absent.
They are responsible for the customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager trains, develops and creates space for others to achieve results.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop people through our core values
Deliver continuous training to motivate the store team
Manage team performance with ongoing coaching
Proactively recruit people who are aligned with our culture and brand vision
Lead on the retail floor by setting the standard around product knowledge, customer experience and brand image
Lead, coach and provide timely feedback around sales plans and key performance indicators
List, delegate and manage team responsibilities within all areas of the business
Support the Store Manager in the overall store recruiting strategy and be responsible for developing their successor
Ensure standards are consistently executed and utilize company tools to better serve the customer
Ensure staff clearly understand and meet job expectations
Responsible for the monthly strategies and OPS
Represent the BonLook brand : reflect company values and brand image at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
3 to 5 years of managerial experience in retail
Previous experience in an optical setting not required
Must have open availability for weekdays, evenings and weekends
HR knowledge : recruitment, scheduling, training and performance management
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent time management skills
