Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 31 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel High-Risk Labor & Delivery RN – Night Shift | 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Unit & Schedule : High-risk, high-volume L&D unit (31 beds, 4 ORs) Average daily census : 15 patients; ~500–600 deliveries / month Schedule posted every 6 weeks; work every other weekend / holidays as needed Float to Postpartum / Antepartum or sister Mother / Baby units Requirements : 3–5 years L&D experience in high-acuity, high-paced environments (5 years preferred) Must have current supervisory references Must provide proof of all required certifications No first-time travelers Certifications : Required : BLS, NRP Preferred : ACLS, AWHONN Advanced & Intermediate Essential Skills : Circulate in L&D and provide newborn care (eyes, Vit K, thigh assessment) Administer medications including Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate EPIC hard-stop electronic fetal monitoring experience Notes : Perm candidates from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) eligible if separated ≥3 months Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses Pre-approved time off considered case by case About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
