This role can include a mix of in-office and remote work.

Candidates located within 50 miles of a Rincon office (Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, Ventura) are strongly preferred.   What You’ll Do Partner with our environmental teams to provide legal guidance and risk assessments on projects Research and communicate updates on relevant legislation and case law Review environmental and land use documents Manage and support contracts across the business Develop strategies to minimize legal exposure while enabling business success Collaborate with the General Counsel on a variety of legal matters What We’re Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed or eligible for admission to the California Bar ​​​​​​​Significant legal experience (typically 5–7+ years) — environmental, land use, litigation, or contract experience a plus Familiarity with CEQA / NEPA or other environmental review frameworks (3+ years preferred, but not required) Ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, practical ways that support project and business needs Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively​​​​​​​ Why Join Rincon?

Our 500+ associates in 13 offices located in Northern, Central, and Southern California are dedicated professionals who combine their passion with our purpose.   The base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000–$185,000 per year, plus a generous benefits program.

At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys.
