Job Description
Delivers reusable, stable integration solutions to line of business requirements based on best practices of development, and operations.
- Develops plans for large scale operational, fault tolerant integration solutions.
- Designs tools for management of systems.
- Designs processes and best practices for code governance.
- Ensures governance standards are employed.
- Defines test procedures as part of governance models.
- Enhances architecture team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members;
teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
- Identifies user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content, including data categorization and labeling.
- Validates information delivery by developing and completing test plans; evaluating traffic patterns; studying user feedback;
coordinating with Usability Specialists.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
Qualifications
The individual must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical field closely related to information technology such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, or information systems.
A master’s degree or above is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of professional technical experience related to software development, systems design and deployment, or networking and infrastructure.
A minimum of 4 years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands-on leadership role.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers directly.
Development experience in webMethods Integration server preferred.
- webMethods IS 6.0 through 9.6 experience preferred.
- 2+ years on webMethods IS Admin.
- 2+ years on webMethods IS Development.
- At least one large scale upgrade project; both IS and Broker.
- Local and remote team management skills required.
- Project management skills using MSFT Project or the like required.
Ability to work within a team, good communication skills, good problem-solving and analytical skills.
English as a first language. Must have excellent communication skills.
Additional Information
Must be a US Citizen willing to travel internationally to Saudi 40-42 weeks a year, 6-8 weeks in Saudi and 8-10 days back in US.
