Company OverviewPreschool Bus Driver Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years oldMust meet all state school preschool and bus driver requirementsValid class C driver’s license, with Passenger endorsementMust meet Cadence Education insurance underwriting requirementsCurrent CPR & First Aid certificationsMust possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)Preschool Bus Driver Job Responsibilities : Inspect certified vehicle on a daily basis to make certain it meets safety requirements as specified by state licensing and DMVAccount for children when picking up and dropping off at various locationsMaintain a safe environment for children while transporting them by following rules, laws and regulations as noted by state requirementsMaintain a character-enriching environment during transportation by ensuring appropriate language and musicMonitor behavior of children while on the bus;

document issues and concerns as needed and notify director in writing of any problemsProperly discharge children to an authorized representative during drop-offMaintain a professional appearance by following company dress codeMaintain cleanliness and adequate fuel supply of vehicleAttend in-service training, conferences, staff meetings and parent meetings as requiredMaintain and update certifications, licenses, and paperwork as required by company, state and DMV requirementsAdhere to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and / or safety precautionsResponsibilities may also include the duties of a teacher or teacher assistantPerform other related duties as assignedCadence Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
