The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in the MSLA Program for the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office Schedule of Classes
Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments.
Adjunct faculty are also required to comply with all Law School and University policies and Protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years working in the legal industry
- Ability to teach at the university level
Preferred Qualifications
- Law degree or other professional degree
- Previous online teaching experience
- Previous law school or college-level teaching experience
Work Schedule
While the University’s administrative offices are open Monday Friday, 8 : 00 am 4 : 30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.

Course Rate
The compensation for this position will be $5,559 for a 3-credit course.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
