The Mount Sinai Heath System is seeking a full-time OB / GYN Generalist Physician, Nocturnist and Tenured Faculty Physician in New York, NY!

Generalist : We are seeking an OB / GYN Physician who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each and every patient.

The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills, embrace the teaching mission of the MSHS and qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

The candidate needs to possess a current NYS medical license. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction.

In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for academic setting and teaching. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine.

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science of the Mount Sinai Heath System (MSHS) is seeking Nocturnists! The Department consists of over 40 full time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community served by Mount Sinai West.

As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic / research medical center.

With over 6,000 deliveries per year, the Department supports 24 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

All OB / Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science.

The Division of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

We seek outstanding candidates with demonstrated excellence in clinical or translational research in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers an exciting research environment that is highly collaborative and with world-class shared research facilities.

Qualified candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or MD / PhD with a strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants.

The successful candidates are expected to establish a dynamic and independently funded research program, as well as to support and participate in collaborative cutting-edge research throughout the medical school.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB / GYN

Compensation range from 270K to 500K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.

As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
