Summary :
Coordinates the development of performance improvement processes, assists with
compliance with internal and external standards and regulations through
monitoring and promotion of continuous survey readiness for the Memorial
Healthcare System Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Services.
Responsibilities :
Coordinates, assembles, and maintains required documentation for verification
by the Florida Department of Health and American College of
Surgeons.Coordinates, implements and maintains quality improvement activities
for trauma and acute care surgery service including outcome and cost analysis,
preparing benchmark data reports, hospital trauma registry (HTR) system
reports and American College of Surgeons (ACS) clinical indicators.Monitors
national trends and data to identify opportunities for strategic follow-up and
loop closure.Consults with members of the care team to ensure effective and
efficient patient care and desired patient outcomes.Assists with community
trauma preventions programs, community offerings and clinical education
activities.Serves as a resource for healthcare team members, patients,
families and community organizations regarding trauma and acute care surgery.
