Make a Difference in Cardiac Care

As a Cardiac Care Nurse at this Level I Trauma Center, you will provide critical care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. You will monitor their progress, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. This is a full-time, night shift position with rotating weekends, offering competitive pay, a generous sign-on bonus, and potential relocation assistance.

Responsibilities :

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Care step-down unit.
Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide specialized cardiac care.
Operate and monitor cardiac monitoring equipment.
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications :

Active Missouri or Compact RN License (Required)

2+ years of experience in an acute cardiac care unit (Required)

ACLS and BLS certifications (Required)

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
