Associate Real Estate Finance Attorney
Dallas, TX
Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Real Estate Finance group in Dallas.
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 4-6 years of substantive real estate finance experience, including the preparation and negotiation of loan documents and handling due diligence for real estate loan closings.
- Experience with recapitalizations, joint ventures, and related corporate and financial transactions .
- Proven experience working with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers, and private lenders .
- AmLaw 200 experience preferred.
- Proficient at complex legal drafting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions across various asset types, including retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and hospitality.
- Prepare and negotiate loan documents, review due diligence materials, and provide strategic legal counsel on transactions.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex real estate finance matters.
