A Senior Compliance Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments. We invite you to be part of the team that defines how Amazon changes the world of international logistics, one shipment at a time.

Key job responsibilities :

• Review and audit for entry filing, PGA, HTS classification, AD / CV, etc.
• Develop audit initiatives / mechanisms to measure and resolve compliance risks
• Intake of regulatory inquiries (28 / 29, Liquidated Damages, etc.) from CBP and customers
• Work with stakeholders to draft petitions / protests for duty mitigation
• Deep dive penalties from CBP and determine root cause / corrective action
• Interpret and implement guidance from 19 CFR and Informed Compliance Publications on behalf of our customers
• Submit Duty Drawback entries
• Build and maintain SOPs for new and changes to regulatory requirements
• Advise and educate clients on import restrictions, tariffs, and other customs-related matters in an introductory fashion
• Ownership of subject matter expertise on requirements and regulatory changes to share with the operations teams in multiple locations, both origin and destination
