MEP Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our new commercial construction project.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centers and mission-critical facilities, and will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the project
- Ensure that all systems meet the project specifications and are installed in accordance with industry standards
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure that all MEP systems are integrated with the overall project design
- Manage the MEP subcontractors and ensure that they are meeting project milestones and deadlines
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts for the MEP systems
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team on all matters related to MEP systems
- Ensure that all MEP systems are tested and commissioned to the highest standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP design and construction for commercial construction projects
- Experience in data centers and mission-critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and industry standards
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse project team
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
